Give your budding young artist a summer of creative exploration at the Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center’s Summer Art Camps! Designed for children and teens ages 5–14, our camps offer unique, hands-on art experiences led by experienced art educators. Campers will explore an exciting variety of art media, techniques, and processes through classes in ceramics, painting, and drawing as well as digital art and photography.

Located on 320 mountainside acres in beautiful Central Pennsylvania, Grier Summer is a boarding and day camp for girls ages 7-17. Our campers are able to create memories that will last a lifetime!

RAS Camp’s Adventure Weeks are packed with excitement, from field trips to mystery guests and more! Every day comes with the classic day camp experience: water games, STEM activities, arts & crafts, outdoor play, and more.

Virginia Children's Chorus provides choral singing instruction to children in grades K - 12. Students audition and are placed in one of 5 choir groups based on age & ability. Rehearsal locations for all in Norfolk and additional location for beginners in Virginia Beach and for intermediate level in Newport News. All choirs sing in concert. Rehearsals & concerts run with the school year. Tuition assistance is available.

The Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center is a multi-purpose cultural space in the southeast community of Newport News, VA. The facility also holds instructional spaces on the third-floor, including the Thaddeus Hayes Dance Studio, an art studio, a music room, and other classroom studio spaces. These spaces hold various programs dedicated to continuing arts education in our community.
